A top down shoot-em-up prototype. Unsure what to do with it. Mostly made with modularity in mind, game uses a custom made ECS for behaviors like health, weapons, movement, input, etc. There is currently only 1 type of room that is procedurally placed in a dungeon-like generator, no connectors yet. Weapons and Enemies are made with modular resources, so creating new ones takes a matter of minutes (depending on depth and required tweaking).

WASD - Move
Shift - Dash in direction of movement / towards cursor
LMB - Shoot primary weapon
RMB - Shoot secondary weapon
Esc - Pause / Resume

Settings only have audio related settings and a way to customize your cursor.

Obviously this is still very bare bones, but it was neat. The style is pretty well done, and even though the bullets are just very simple white squares, the way they are spread about for different weapon types is pretty satisfying. 

In my opinion a game like this will live and die by the weapon variety + the enemy variety. With the small sample here, the weapons seem nice, and I like that you aren't afraid to mess around with some pretty funny recoil
